3“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
7Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
9Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called sons of God.
10Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

what does the word “receive” mean to you?

someone told me
an analogy of a deemed innocent man standing inside the prison cell with the cell door open unwilling to step out..

have you received what He has freely given to you?

Terminator Salvation

June 8, 2009

Have always been a fan of the “terminators” in the 90s, however i didn’t intend to watch this sequel cos the title did not really catch my attention, and…i thought, ok, no more “the favorite” Arnold Schwarzenegger (tho he did appear for 10mins in this sequel…ironically as the bad guy..)..with all that, still caught the movie and i think it did a fine job in keeping me at the edge of my chair, pumping adrenalin thru my bloodstream and teaching me something about humanity..

one quote from the movie that sums it all:

“What is it that makes us human? Not somebody you can program. You can’t put it in a chip. It’s the strength of the human heart. That’s the difference between us and machines.”

God gave us a heart.tremendous strength within the human heart.

if we are not using it consciously, what makes us different from those indifferent robots?
